Original and authentic Ammonite colony on a matrix from Madagascar. This specimen is estimated to be 150,000,000 years old and is a show stopping addition to your office & living room.
Ammonites are cephalopods that were closely related to the modern-day octopus and squid. What is left behind of them are their shells, for their actual bodies were ligaments, and the soft tissue is extraordinarily unlikely to fossilize.
Ammonite shells are valued for their intricate patterns and are considered a symbol of change and evolution, making it the perfect gift for any home decor or fossil collector.
You will receive the exact item shown. We guarantee this to be an authentic natural Ammonite colony from Madagascar. Please allow for slight imperfections as this is expected with a fossil that is over hundreds of millions of year old. Shipping is 100% insured. Our experienced team has a proven track record of safely shipping delicate and one-of-a-kind items. We proudly back this Ammonite colony with our 30-day-money-back guarantee.
