Hand-carved from a single piece of natural Brazilian quartz and amethyst, this heart captures the natural transition between clear quartz and amethyst crystal, formed together within the same geode. Amethyst develops when quartz crystallizes inside gas cavities in volcanic rock; trace iron and natural irradiation give it its characteristic violet tone over millions of years. As a natural stone, color intensity, clarity, and banding are unique to each piece.
