This is natural Indonesian Petrified Wood and is estimated to be around 15 - 25 million years old and is from Mount Halimun Salak National Park. This square stool has been hand carved from one single log estimated to be 3x larger than the finished stump.
Petrified Wood is a natural wonder formed when the wood is buried and replaced by minerals, preserving its texture and details for millions of years. This process creates a fossil that is both beautiful and unique, showcasing the intricate patterns and textures of the original wood.
